the first week of december this past year came with a lot of disappointment, and a new family member. On the 1st of dec 2009 sagira had to be taken to the vet because she was behaving oddly under saddle. after 3 hours and alot of needles and ultrasounds i was informed that my beautiful baby girl had a tear in one rear suspensory tendon and had damaged her opposites legs other rear suspensory tendon. To let you know how bad this is she has to be kept in a stall and small enclosure measuring less then 14'x 24'for a whole year! this sucks no riding or anything else.
now to the new family member I didnt want to buy another horse but i was playing on the computer and came across a halflinger mare (this is a breed of horse) she could jump and do dressage. so after sitting on the couch for a week crying i decided to go look at her long story short she is GREAT her name is Fajita. everyone can ride her she has been a lesson horse, and she does everything so we bought her.

Wow, lots of posts! It was great to get an update! I'm so sorry about your horse, but you sound so happy about the new addition! Preston is HUGE.
Fajitas are one of my favorite foods! When is the barbecue? LOL
fajitas are my favorite food also LOL
in five years we can barbecue her up! LOL
Fajita is so cute! Sorry about Sagira, though, the poor thing. A whole YEAR??? wow.
We love Fajita Heidi. You have succesfully gotten Maria up on her and Mia begs to ride her. I even like riding her in the arena. so lets get a picture next time Maria is on her. The helmet on her head is quite humerous. Mom

I just got caught up on your blog! Poor poor Sagira...what torture it must be to have to be locked up for so long.
It sounds like the new addition is a hit. I would really like to see a picture of Mariah on a horse!
